Last year all three of the countries had been given roughly in total more than 500 million dollars in funding from the US. Trump tweeted saying Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador were not able to do the job of stopping people from leaving their country and coming illegally to the U.S. The whole purpose of the caravan are groups of people from central america fleeing their country due to high levels of violence and wanting to get away from it, being safe for themselves and their family. The caravan, an calculable 7,000 to 10,000 Central Americans fleeing violence and poverty in their homelands, is in southern Mexico, inching toward the distant U.S. border. Trump claims that there are Criminals and unknown middle easterners mixed with the caravan but does not have any evidence of this. If he was better at helping people get some type of residency or permission to be in our country it wouldnt be so unfair if given the right resources.
